I have abouts 120,000 GM points.
But too bad they will take only $1500 in GM points on a Camaro.............JT |

Damn that's a lot of points you could have used for travel or something. I remember seeing in other forums people talking about paying for the car all in GM Points. I guess this is no longer possible? Have you ever received the "top up" email or letter from GM? $1500 max is lame. Especially for the big spenders.

Not exactly sure how this works. I ordered a car two weeks ago. I’m also paying invoice and getting a discount because I work at the railroad...Not sure if that affects anything.

Not sure what the railroad would have to do with it. Just contact your dealer and find out if you are using the employee discount code or the supplier discount code. If you are not then my card will work. If you are using one of these codes then you can't use this card.

Yeah I’m already using the supplier discount I think. One of them anyway.. I gave them a code that would reduce the cost by $1200..thanks anyways!

well good news and bad. Picked it up this morning. After 85 or so miles it went into a limp mode. Flat-bedded it back to dealer. #3 cylinder misfiring, its ether a bad injector or the wiring harness. Hopefully they'll have it sorted out tomorrow.

Yes it can. That is the good news. The bad news is I am out of earnings until Jan 4th when there will be the yearly GM Card Bonus program. Check back then. |

That supplier pricing restriction is annoying. it's your cash back that you earned on your purchases, not a rebate. I get 2% on my citi card instead of their measly 1% and I can cash it in and use my supplier pricing.
Just out of curiosity why the weird 1330 amount instead of the normal 1,500? |

That is all I have as of now (with the bonus) but will increase around the 23rd or 24th of each month.
It is not cash back. It is a GM Rebate. Done this over 50 times at least. Maybe 60+. |
