Where are you located? I may be hitting you up come Fall when I am ready to swap over to All Season tires.

Heck, I don't mind running 295's for the rear and leave the front to the stock 245's if possible.

In a perfect world for the most lateral grip on stock 20" rims, I say 295 and 255/275 would be ideal.
Our rim 9.5 inches wide min rim for 295 have to be 20×10 -20×11.5 😣

Do you think it's worth it to get 285's in the back? I'll get 40 series tires to help with the wheel gap.

Since our rear rims is 9.5" I'm thinking 285 series tires will be max?

285 works fine. 295 may be pushing it a little.
This is on your stock rims correct?

I would love to put 295's on my stock 9.5 rims in the rear but I think it's a size too big.

I really don't understand how wheels sizing and offsets work.. but can the current SS's be fitted with stock 1LE wheels/tire combination without any issues?

Yes.
A 1LE is a SS.
1LE is a package that includes some suspension bits and Recaro seats.

Kind like asking if the wheels on a 1SS will fit on a 2SS, or will the wheels from a MRC car fit on a car without MRC

Not being a dink....

Hey hey, thanks!

Cool, I really am digging the 1LE wheels.

Oh but what sort of tires won't cause rubbing? I hear some people with 35's having issues but 30's are fine?

EDIT: "Same at the 1LE - 285/30/20 for the front and 305/30/20 for the rears."

35's in the back are over an inch more in diameter than the 30's. The rubbing issue is stuffing the bigger wider tire in and having it rub on a wire harness tucked in the wheel well. It seems like how the harness is routed varies. Only a few have had to push it back.
Some tires have more of a square shoulder / sidewall, effectively making them a few mm wider than a tire with a rounded shoulder.

No. The rims have a different offset then the front rims.

What about mounting a 315/30/20 on the back and 295/30/20 on the front of stock 10” & 11” wide Camaro ZL1 wheels

Shouldn't be a problem and will look & ride a tiny bit better. See the comparison of the fronts below, rears are very similar.
