Anyone got their new Marcus by Goldman Sachs card yet? I have had my GM card since the early 90's and this transition is not seamless to me. My old GM Card has been discontinued and I dont have the new one yet. I am old and I don't like change.

I haven't received the new card yet either. The old one is still valid and accepted until the new one is activated, except if the old one expires of course.

Last time I checked, the Marcus webpage stated that we would receive our cards in the "coming months".

While I haven't received my new card from Marcus, I have been utilizing their virtual cards so I keep racking up points for the new Camaro.

I completely forgot about this. I remember getting some letters that this change was happening but feel like it was weeks if not months ago. I don't think I've received the new card yet either, but then again I don't use this credit card so I have not really been looking for it.

It's been a complete abortion for me setting it up from my bank to them....... Hopefully its sorted and cleared up tomorrow.... And they take the fees off. Hope it works out once its all said and done cause Capital One has and always will suck it.

I've set up my account with them and received my last statement with their official name on it but still haven't received my Cards yet. I have two GM cards with two different accounts. I got an email last week saying the cards were on the way and just keep using my old cards.

Not yet. The Capital One GM card website was at least user friendly and provided a lot of info. The new Marcus website sucks, not user friendly, and rather drab. But when you make a payment at least there is confetti. Supposedly there is no cap, but wait until people start redeeming $10k plus. That will not last.

Well first got the new card and it’s fine. Old one worked just fine right up to activating the new card. Zero issues ther so noth8ng to worry about.

Two complaints.

First no text alerts for charges over $50. Emails not which is a bit archaic and one step less convenient.

Second, and maybe an effort of getting too cute, there are no numbers on the fron5 of the card, they are on the back. They are so small I need my readers to read the numbers. So memorize your card if you are buying anywhere you need to enter the card numbers.

As for you anti EV folks, you still have several years to use those points. There will be lots to choose from for quite a few years.

Got my card a couple weeks ago… they’ve even sent me email reminders to activate my card. I’m hard pressed to think that I’ll buy a new GM vehicle (and have zero interest in further enriching Goldman Sachs) so the card is going in the trash.

Agreed... I have used the points on dealership service and accessories, no reason not to continue as long as we have GM vehicles in the family that we take in.
