Check Engine Light / Weird Clatter.

I was on my way home from work and I see a nice check engine light and this sound....27,770 miles. Video link posted below.

Update.

just fixed a ford that sounded like that ended up being the bearings in the alternator. quick swap of the alt and no more sound. Use a screwdriver and put your ear to it and touch various parts of the engine to see where its coming from. be careful not to stick the screwdriver near and moving components like belts or pulleys

That’s not a bad idea, I couldn’t pin point the sound last night. But I’m under warranty so I took it in lol.

Looks like they also found additional check engine code P0711 for the Transmission Temperature sensor in the tranny. I had the same issue with my 2016 1LT Camaro A8. But it appears they did not charge you for the Transmission filter. I had to pay out of pocket to have it replaced Hmmm. The rest was covered under extended warranty.
