Front grill changed in Ls model
Has anyone ever changed the front grill on the stock bumper for the ls model? I dont really like the grill and i've been looking around and i haven't seen anyone talk about it.

That's the SEMA set...from what I have seen personally a lot of SS owners want that setup. But, I haven't seen anybody actually do the swap on a LT/LS.....Mostly we swap to the ZL1 bumper for the additional $300

I had it on my former 2LT, too. Worth the price IMO, it gave the car a whole new front look, and the installation, while somewhat involved for an amateur like me, is not difficult at all. The plastic parts on this SEMA grille are glossy black, have a decent sturdy feel, and, as a nice perk, the upper grille has a factory cutout for the illuminated bowtie, whereas the original LS/LT grille requires you to mess around a bit to drill and cut the (dull and cheap) plastic behind the emblem.
Mind that the grille inserts are not available in all colors, and if you buy the unpainted set, you're in for a time-consuming paint job in order to make a perfect match to the car's paint.

I haven’t decided on color but I think I will be putting a black one on my silver eventually. I think the lt sema grill is way better than the ss version, it’s usually the opposite haha

I did the SEMA grille swap on my NFG 2LT - absolutely worth it to me, it really does change the front end.

I love this grill. It is also a performance upgrade. GM designed this grill to speed up air velocity. The I4 really benefits because of the intercooler location. I ordered the GM grill package in black. Comes with upper and lower grills, and works for cars with or without HD cooling package.
