When I click on the Proclip link on the first page of this thread, it’s showing $35, not $75.

Because that is only the mount, you have to get the ProClip device holder to go with it.

Pro Clip all the way had one in my camaro for two years with absolutely no problems, perfect place to mount your phone, is it a little pricey yes but it is well made to last.

This is correct. I tried to nickel and dime getting one and soon learned. Very quality stuff. Didnt realize how important a solid phone holder is till that hp and torque is used. Especially in city driving. Phone flying around the cabin.

Ill add I bought both fitments and the lower is the better of the two IMO. I even redrilled it to lower it, as it crowds the cockpit of the car. Helped but but not by much.

This was very useful info. Thanks for sharing. I'll be designing and 3D printing one that changes placement to keep the passenger knee comfort, but it's good to see feedback.

I have the Pro-Clip mount with a MagSafe base for my iPhone, but it’s a pretty expensive proposition to go my route. Still I tried a few other options with my 2018 and much prefer the Pro-Clip knee pad mount for convenience and location.

Here’s all the pieces I have:
1) Pro-Clip console mount
2) Pro-Clip iPhone holder for MagSafe charger
3) Apple MagSafe charger
4) Apple Morphie 12v adapter to USB-C

Right now Pro-Clip seems to be running a sale because the mount is $26 and the MagSafe mount is $30. The MagSafe charger is $39 and the Morphie is $25.

I already had 1 from my 2018 which is the good thing about Pro-Clip. Once you have the mount it’s infinitely adaptable and you never need to replace it. I find the location is ideal. It doesn’t obstruct anything, it’s right where your hand naturally goes, and doesn’t get in the way of the passenger.

3 doesn’t come with 2 and has to be bought separately. If you don’t want charging, the non charging mount is a much cheaper way to go.

I had to buy 4 because the factory USB ports would not charge my iPhone 14 or 15 with the MagSafe.

Naturally you’ll also need the MagSafe case for the phone.

The only negative I’ve found is I nailed it once and the phone went flying off the mount. With normal driving it’s not an issue.

Overall I’m extremely happy with this setup. I do not mess with my phone during driving and I’d be OK with the charging pad, but it’s fiddly with my phone to get it to charge and I was constantly forgetting the phone and leaving it in the car. The side mount is effortless and I never forget it.

This is the one that has been better for me. I had a magnetic holder and a vent holder, but my cellphone keeps falling, until I bought this one, problem fixed. https://www.target.com/p/iottie-easy...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

Not until one can do the exact same things on the screen in "car mode" as one can on the phone.
