I saw a Rapid blue one at the superstore today, the back badge was taken off.. looked so nice!

is that anyone on the forums?

I'm going to stick with the Goodyear's until I need to replace them. Not sure yet what I might go with then. I had a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my BMW and loved them. I might go that direction when I have to replace the Goodyears.

I was supposed to pick up the car today from the PPF installation, but they called and needed another day. One of the fender pieces they installed didn't turn out like they wanted it to so they decided to replace it. Hopefully I will get it back tomorrow. I'm at least glad that they recognized that it didn't meet their standards and are fixing it before giving it back to me. I'll take some pictures when I get the car back.

FINALLY got eyes on Rapid Blue two days ago. Had a gentlemen come into my store driving a C8. Helped all my concerns about the really pale look it has with some photos we see. AMAZING color.

Yeah, pictures really don't do it justice. It is amazing in person. Went to Harbor Freight today to pick up a few things. When I walked in the door one of the cashiers turned and saw my car out the window and said to the other cashier "wow, what an amazing looking color and pointed at my car." She didn't know it was mine.

Great to hear. Just placed my (2nd) order today, and decided to switch over to Rapid Blue from the Riverside Blue I had previously chosen. Didn't really care for the color when I first saw the pictures, but the more pictures and videos I have seen, I've really fallen in love with the color. Still have never seen it in person though, so there's always that little seed of doubt whether or not I made the right choice. Fingers crossed I've love it as much when I finally see it in person.

I was in the same boat. When I ordered my car I had never seen Rapid Blue in person, only in pictures and videos. Sometimes the color looks pale in both. In person it's a deeper color.

And on the 1LE with the satin black parts and the dark wheels, the contrast of the colors really makes the blue pop.

I originally wanted Riverside Blue too, but once I saw Rapid Blue on a 1LE it was the color choice for me.

Thanks for the info on the color. I agree that it often has different brightness levels depending on what picture or video I see. I've never been too sure how light or dark the color actually is.

And I agree that I think it might be too much for me if it didn't have the black accents from the 1LE package (or something similar). They really set off the color, and I think the contrast really seems to work well.
