TSW Nurburging or is there something else???
Alright everyone,
I have been browsing the marketplace and some threads here. I am looking for a wheel with a comparative weight to the TSW Nurburgring (NBR) wheels; 20x8.5 and 20x10. I ask this because finding wheel weights for wheels I like has been a task to compare them to the TSW NBR I like the look of a lip on the wheel though so I like the TSW Stowe, Rockingham and Carthage, but to my knowledge they all weigh a bit more than the NBR and my main goal is weight savings. I am also not totally opposed to a concaved look I am just not a fan of all the spokes. If I have to for weight savings I will go with the NBR's but it is not my first choice for sure. So does anyone have any insight for a wheel that looks like the ones I mentioned with closer wheel weight to the TSW NBR, I am not limited to only TSW but would like to keep it around that general price for a set of "4" so $1350+-. If you do please post a pic with it on your car as well and that would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Thank you for the input. See I am trying to stay around the 22lb~ front and the 24lb~ rear on the 20x8 and 20x10 NBR's but without the multiple spoke pattern/design but if that isn't an option then I will have to bite the bullet.

Yes. This does seem to be quite the task. The decision process would be so much easier if I didn't have to email the seller and then they either have that info or have to confirm with the manufac.
If it were listed next to the size it would be amazing. Why it isn't I'm not sure. If it is available it can be keyed in with the rest of the info. :/ |

Take a look at ModBargains...even though the wheels aren't listed under "Camaro" wheels, the VMR V710 wheels are on the site and the weights are very similar.
The V710's have a more concave look instead of the flat face that the Nurburgrings have. They are on my car, take a look at my build thread for some more pics.

Thanks. I appreciate the info. I will go look. Yea I like the deeper look with at least a little lip on the wheel. And the NBR's don't have either and they have all those spokes.

Take a look or call one of the wheel dealers.
What are you going to use them for?

I want lighter wheels because they handle better and you can pick up some quicker times on the track depending how much you shed. Which is why I want to go light as I can but keep the price point around the TSW NBR'S price. The price on them is attractive. The wheels themselves are not for me. |
