I'm usually the one saying to hold off on naming the shop until you see if they will "make things right" and then show the outcome from it and THEN naming the shop.

But this... wow. 1st I'm sorry they just hacked on your car. Its all fixable, for the most part, and can be done right. That being said, id say name the shop just incase any other member may be thinking about going there.

I'm not sure why he got the cart kinda before the horse, heck I've done similar things so I'm not sure that matters at all.
The fact he's here here asking for help is really what matters.

Wow! That really sucks. I would look into disputing charge if you put on credit card and provide pics of service. That workmanship is totally unsatisfactory. Take the car back and bash their freaking heads into snout and ask does this look right? That’s just the Marine in me, sorry about this happening to fellow Vet.

Holy bananas!!! That’s terrible. I also say name the shop in case another member is thinking of going there. Wow that’s awful.
Best of luck my friend. I feel bad for you.

This is worse than the crap I did to my cars back when I was 15/16 years old and had no idea what I was doing. How a 'professional' shop can exist with this quality of work is beyond me.

With a shop doing work this bad, I would get in contact with a lawyer asap. Pretty sure this shop won't be around long so if you want your money back, i would get the ball rolling. a few hundred dollars for a lawyer to send a letter can go a long way.

Edit to add, I am sorry you had to deal with this. this is beyond a bad customer service experience. as others have said this is negligent and super sloppy even for a backyard mechanic.

Oh my God.... I hate people. How are they not embarrassed to give somebody their car back in this condition. Basically, they charged you to ruin your car...

Here’s the name of the shop that damaged my ZL1

This shop has yet to make it right. So unfortunately I’m posting the name. Also I’ve been contacted by others who had negative experiences there.
People asked me to post the name of the shop. Here it is.

I’m attaching two pics of estimates. The first one is the original price of parts which I foolishly gave cash so they could order the parts prior to work. You’ll notice that the second one, which is the final one, he raised the price of the parts.
Nemesis Custom Works

I dealt only with Gabriel Halsey who claims to be mechanic by trade and owner or COO of this business.

His name is not on the secretary of states business registry. His mechanic by trade I can only find is from Oil Can Henry’s.
