The older version I did is still up for comparison here

Source: This website seems to have matched color swatches from Chevy's own site almost exactly, way better than the previous site I was using (I've mixed in samples from this site in an attempt to be more true to life)

2024 Update - Grabbed Nitro Yellow Metallic sample from the EV Blazer site and Riptide Blue Metallic from the ERay visualizer page. I did not put a $ for premium color for any of the 2024 colors but at least the two new ones will be premium I'd wager. Panther Black Matte is already on the website I have linked above, and so is Panther Black Metallic but it's showing the exact same black as GBA (HEX: 000000, RGB: 0, 0, 0). It is on previous model GM cars so I compared a bunch of paint samples from a 2015 XTS Black Diamond color and used the most common value from multiple sites.

Again, these may not be accurate but hopefully gives some idea of a color difference/shade between colors. I don't know how accurate that will be with the Panther Black Matte since it's the only matte paint in the entire list.
Sharkskin Metallic's nickname is Sharky. I coined it, and own it... see

They need to bring back Rally Green Metallic... Why was it only one year??? If they brought it back in 2024 I might consider ordering a 2SS 1LE or ZL1 in RGM... My kids and Wife told me in 2020 I should have ordered it (after I had already submitted my order for my Shadow Gray Metallic 2SS), but I hadn't seen one in person and my Mom had an old '72 Caprice Classic that was a very similar green and I couldn't get past that, but after seeing some pictures of some SS 1LEs in RGM, it is a damn fine color!

Yep, prime example is Crush in 2018. Solely available if you bought a HotWheels edition. Couldn’t get it any other way, then 2019-2021 they had it as a optionable color

Speaking of colors, my garnet red (G7E) is definitely not as dark as your new swatch indicates... the hue is perfect, but the color is lighter IMO. Where did you get the RGB values from?

I used this site: https://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorco...et+Paint+Codes

Used the eyedropper tool in photoshop to grab the values from the site, I do agree with you though, some of the colors look pretty good but others don’t match real life.

I’m thinking of trying the brochures they release for each model year (page 13): https://cdn.dealereprocess.org/cdn/b...017-camaro.pdf

Just need to figure out where the closest match to real life is on those car pictures and then I can use the same spot for all the colors

There’s also this site that might be promising, I believe I used it in the past but it’s been updated since as I don’t recognize the layouts now: https://hdpaintcode.com/gm-2022/

Yeah, those brochure colors feel closer to real life, even if the paintref rendering is more "official" (their hyper blue is also severely lacking, just look at that bland swath of medium blue).

There is a garnet red SS on page 7 of the brochure, that's even more like it, but of course it has light and dark areas and some photoshopping going on, so taking colors from page 13 is probably more fair.

Too late now unfortunately. Before I bought my SS, I was looking at a used LT1 in Rally Green. If it were an RS with NPP I might have bit on the deal.

Sometimes I contemplate black, but honestly the color choices were rather limited for my taste. I kind of wish we had a color like Dodge's Smoke Show or Destroyer Grey.
