If they can finish my car tommorow, i will be happy, onstar still says the same mileage so in guessing they still cannot get it to start, but at least onstar cam see the car again. The Temps last week were 85 degrees for a high everyday and no rain, i would have loved to have had the camaro.

Just got back from visiting my car as I have not seen it in awhile, today and day 18 and I find my car outside with windows partially cracked and the door have been unlocked for two days now. It has rained the past two days and interior has a musty smell now. They still do not have the fuse block they blew to repair my car.

SOB, I thought my shudder was because I have been going so light on the throttle during break-in. I'll have to pay more attention to this as well now. Why can't they just replace the clutch pack or torque converter? Replacing the entire transmission sounds pretty severe.

Check for hints of deodorizer, musk or mildew. If you can clearly smell any of those, do not accept your vehicle. The leather, cloth and cushion foam do not resolve from direct water exposure. The dealer would be on the hook for replacement, but that liability goes out the window the moment you take your vehicle back off the lot in most cases.

Why would they put the car outside if the electrical is blown and windows were still open?!?!

The TC shares fluid with the transmission, and if it shed metal during operation the trans now has (more) junk flowing through it.

Ok, why didn't I find this thread earlier!? Shuddering during "soft acceleration".
Just got mine back, they replaced the TC & told me that the the trans looked clean...

But now on way home I hear the exhaust rattling around... I looked under the rear when I got home & saw the rear exhaust hangers were out of the rubber grommets. So I slide then back in... but still rattling around on bumpy driving.

Did they have to remove the exhaust in order to replace TC??!

Gen6 SS started hicupping/sputtering, any ideas?

I really feel they put excessive miles on my car even if they were diagnosing the problem.
I took mine in for the same issue and they drove my car about 51 miles to diagnose the problem. I believe it's part of certain steps they have to go through that requires that much driving to log certain parameters. Anywho...They flushed my transmission three full times with new fluid and that solved about 90% of the problem. Still get some random shakes and vibrations so I'll be taking it back in. When I left with it last time, they told me if it continues, the next step is to replace the Torque Converter.
