Anyone here actually tried g to spares on the front.

Only attempt I found was from the 5th gen. There is a set a few hrs away for 120 bucks. I think it's worth the try.

GTO spares will work but you will need to purchase hub centric/wheel centric spacers for them to fit.Name: 20160709_135210-1.jpg

Speed rating on donuts will come up short but it has been done before.

A bunch of guys used those on the G8's. They worked ok, but are heavy compared to a drag pack setup. I'd never run a spacer at 120 plus at the track.

I tried the CTS spares, they even fit without a spacer, but look odd. I have the 185/55R18 tires on them, so they were too short, and I ended up with stability comtrol inputs and some strange behaviour of the car. There are no radial tires in bigger size, so I might will go with bias ply up front and we'll see what happens.

I think so. 18 inch. Can look up the P/N, if required.

If you can do that I would appreciate it, it might just be easier and cheaper to buy some instead of searching.

When you say bias ply, do you mean radials or slicks up front.

This is the PN on the weels. Sure it looks funny on the car, but it works. Yeah, I meant drag radials in the back and bias ply up front. I hope it works.

You do not want to mix bias and radial...

I ran mixed last week, didn't have no problems. I know it's not ideal, but I had no control issues
