I also went the inexpensive route on wheels and used a C6 zo6 style wheel in a 18x10.5. I test fit the wheels they fit perfectly and look good for $130 each.

I had the same dilemma and ended up using 305-40-18 in the MT ET SS tire. I wanted the R's but the 305-40-18 is closer to stock size.

If you want to lower the effective gearing slightly, go with the 305/35, if you want a slightly taller effective gear go with the 305/45. Or chose to keep stock gearing and go with the 305/40.

You should be able to come out harder with the 305/35 if you have enough traction.







How about an offset for the wheels? What are you all running with the c6 Z06 rims.

I think it's a 56 offset. They only make one offset for the replica one wheels.

Got no lower than a 1.9 today, something is going on with my rear end, my car would not stay straight during burnout, i would get really sideways, dont know what was up. Anyways I picked up .2 tenths from my best, only made 2 passes it was so packed. First run was 12.00 second was 11.7

I have gone back and forth with guys on this. The stock TCM/ECM is tracking the stock rear tire at 26.83". If you lay a straight edge on it with it on the car at proper air pressure it is 26.83". If you look at the scanner during shifts they coenside with the tire being 26.83" tall. Yes I understand what the calculator says but nothing lines up to that in the car.
