Bet it was. Based on the specifications the 2LT V6 Camaro is a direct competitor to the 235i and the 335i at a much lower price point. A 2LT turbo 4 likely compares to the 228/328.

And, with all the tech goodies/leather I'm betting it feels just as refined and high quality. Since BMW has gone somewhat soft (per owners words - not personal experience) I am betting the camaro will feel more poised and engaging.

The SS / M3 comparisons should be interesting

This is great news. Can't wait to drive mine to find out if this is true.

Picture popped up for me on the side when I visited Motor Trend.. It's a side shot of a white Camaro and below is what it says in the caption.

"It's actually better to drive fast than a #BMW 3 series. Never thought we'd see the day. #Chevy #Camaro #gamechanged"..

Game changed..

I saved the picture and caption, but don't feel like uploading it.. LOL. The caption was just below the picture. You're missing about a third of the bottom of the picture.

Not too excited by this as the 335i has been losing a lot of ground with reviewers lately - disconnected, soft, no longer the "ultimate driving machine" - losing comparisons to the ATS and CTS. Now if they start saying "more fun than a Cayman GTS" then I'll start wetting my pants...
