Too Quick for what it is.... part 2
I took the car to a shop that does HP tuners and had the guy go through it to see what if anything was done. !st off he drove the car then told me no doubt the car has "something" done to it. He looked at everything and this is what he found................
lower Car has been tuned for a premium fuel, high stall convertor and 4:11 gears. |

LOL that's pretty sweet! I didn't say too much in the part 1 thread but I will confess I didn't believe the tale entirely either. I will eat my slice of humble pie. I can't see the pics either BTW. The only concern I'd have with that is that is a setup to run a 1/4 mile at a time

Its my wife's daily driver so its hard to pry it from her hands she loves it. I drove it tonight to go get a few doggies, its so freakin nasty 0-75 its just ridicules. You don't want to stop driving it. Its the most fun I've had in years, I knew it was quicker than the TA 1st time I drove it. I pulled out on to the highway with the sales woman along and she about sheeeet, warned me not do that again. Honestly all I did was hold maybe 3/4 throttle and let it shift on its own to like 65, She's screamin her head off. I knew I found my car! HeHe
Another reason I knew something was up is the gas mileage is Great and I live in a hilly area. It gets 23-25 local all day long, just blows my mind. |

411 gears in a v6? Better research that because I think I recall a thread about what gears would fit in a v6 rear. And it wasn't 411s. You may have an SS rear end. But Im not 100% sure.

So it was tuned for gears and a high stall converter? So are either installed I'm guessing not. Sorry but a high stall converter + 4.11 gears = crap gas mileage.

It just kills you v8 guys don't it, come on admit it this little tiny v6 will stay with v8 cars and its bugs the crap outta you guys that spent all that money on v8 cars. Everyone knows this I'm just getting it out in the open.
Now I'm not posting up ANY more replies to anyone who is negative. Sorry but lifes too short and I need to have my cake and eat it too on regular fuel. Have a nice day |
