Wrap ZL1 hood insert?

Has anyone wrapped the hood insert? I have seen a couple of folks that have painted it, but curious if anyone has tried a wrap and then apply matching ZL1 style stripes to the roof and trunk/spoiler. My car is black and I am looking for a bit of contrast, perhaps a blue...

Pics appreciated!

Thanks!

If you are talking about the carbon section I had PPF put on it. Looks great.

Yes, I've seen pics of it wrapped. The ZL1 emblems can be removed prior to wrapping and reinstalled.

My (factory painted) insert has Suntek Ultra PPF. Emblems and insert were removed and all edges were wrapped and tucked. No seams are visible.

There's a guy on Instagram with his either painted or, wrapped in green. It looks pretty good. I haven't seen him on this site. DM me if you have Instagram and would like his name.

Wrapping isn’t my thing, but I also removed mine and had it covered in Suntek film. I’d suggest making a template before you take the emblems off if you want them back in the right spot when you’re done.

Has anyone wrapped the hood insert with an American flag vinyl? I am looking to do that but I don't know where to buy it from:

I had mine wrapped 3 years ago. Was gonna do paint but thought a wrap would be better in case I get bored with it.

Yes, I have had the CF hood insert wrapped with PPF. I have also dual stripes on the car bumper to bumper. The car is shadow grey and the stipes are satin vampire red. It provides a great contrast.

Thanks, that looks great. I was just looking for something more subtle, like the picture below (and my post above).
