2019 Bose Amp Wiring

I now have my 2019 LT3 with Bose. I pulled the trunk apart to get started figuring out how to adjust my system upgrade plans now that we can't use MOST interfaces.

Looks like the wiring is similar but it definitely different which is too bad as there aren't any T Harness plugs available.

The new X1 is power, ground, Front Left door and Front Right Door.
The new X2 is both rear, both dash speakers and the center.

I don't suppose anybody has a line on where I could source those new plugs.

What specifically are you looking to do? I'm going to add a sub and amp but just going to use the previous harness and run it to an lc2i

I assumed the plugs are different as they look different than the previous versions and certainly have a slightly different pinout. New x2 is black with a red locking clip.

My plan is to use the JL fix to take the two rear, two door and two dash speakers and run active front stage and subs. Eliminate center and rears.

Would prefer to not cut up the factory wiring. I'll order a t harness and see how it goes I guess.

I noticed that the plugs went from green to black (red lock tab on the main interface) on the 2019 1SS non bose. However they still mated with the Sub thump T harness for the 2016-2018 and the signal routing was the same. It does sound like Chevy switched over to an ethernet based communication for the 2019 Model year so it seems like the only option for adding an amp on the 2019s is to tap off of the speaker outputs.

Oh okay gotcha, I was told the sub-t harness still works as far as adding a LoC, but the ANC harness it came with would no longer work.

Also if you could post how it went and anything you did, that would be helpful. As soon as my car gets here I plan on adding an amp and sub.

Oh I plan to. I'm going to order up some gear tomorrow. Gonna be some trial and error probably. I already verified which wires go where. If the t harnesses still physically work, I'll have to adjust the pinout or use the wrong wire colors.
