Anyone know to get more trunk/back seat opening to fit a box in?

Long story short, my friend made a custom box to fit my 15 inch subwoofer to fit IN my trunk, but we forgot to measure the opening of the trunk/backseat. Now we’re in a pickle to try and squeeze the box in but we’ve struggled for a while. What’s everything we can take out to possibly fit the box through?

Any other solutions?

Take off the windshield.
Cut off a bigger trunk opening.
Get another car.

Jokes aside, you will have to split your box in 2.

I told my friend to take it apart and then assemble it back together while it’s in the trunk but that’s so much more work. Might have to do that if we don’t find anything.

Even with the backseats removed it still won’t fit through the opening.

That was your best option. Sounds like you need to do some rework on your enclosure to make it fit through that opening.

Are you the person I talked too about the 15? I said I was getting rid of my 15 cause I couldnt fit the box into the vehicle and was going to do a 12 next time. Lol I knew it.

I design boxes for people and this is often their biggest issue, they will tell me their trunk dimensions and I have to remind them about the trunk opening.

No I’m not that person. But damn do I want that 15 in there, I’m gonna have a friend take a piece or two off and then assemble it back inside the trunk haha.
