Perhaps you've not lived long enough to know better than to ever let anybody other than yourself perform these types of services to your car.

That is crazy! I am going crazy just hoping my car comes back 100% perfect after being at my dealer for a week for repairs.

That sucks... Your dealership sounds a lot like mine. They did the same thing when they took off the SS emblem on the rear bumper but not as deep :(

WTF, looks like somebody tried to remove the original bowtie with the same fork they used during their lunch break. The rear bowtie swap is one of the easiest mods you can do so long as you're patient and take your time to heat up the adhesive. You should be able to soften it up with a hair drier to the point that a piece of dental floss is capable of slicing it off nice and cleanly, especially if its a newer car.

Sad when you cannot reply on your dealership to do the work correctly. I know my dealership took care of me (Rodgers Chevrolet) and installed my black illuminated bow ties, fuel door, and fender stripes with no issues and no damage.

Sure as hell hope they make it right for the OP.

Trunk was scratched, they either set the spolier on the trunk lid or their tools... Backing tape was left behind the splash guards and now they need to be removed to get at the remaining tape backing pieces...
Oh, and the old spolier was covered in screwdriver pry marks (had about 10km on it)

Installed the front facia extension and bowties myself after seeing all this, wished I had not given such a good review (noticed after the fact)

OP that damage is viscous; a kid with a hammer and chisel could have done a better job..

Alot of this stuff are LPO items, ordered or not, the dealership installs these pieces... I ordered and ran into the same issues...

Then when I came to pick up my bowties and facia extension I asked what happens if the pieces are damaged (both were back ordered) they said there is no warranty on the parts because I'm taking them home (BS)... So I grabbed my pocket knife and opened them all on his counter to inspect before I left and just ate the install price I had already paid for... Better than letting the monkeys take another crack at it lol

The right thing to do is pull a trunk lid from an SS on the lot and give that to you and deal with the re-paint at a later time on the lot car.
