SS 1LE Tires and Wheels on V6
I'm installing the GM Lowering Kit and GM Sway Bar (FE4) Kit on a 2018 V6 LT. I'd like to upgrade the tires and wheels to those found on the SS 1LE. Does anyone know if there are any clearance or other issues with doing this?

Found the "Ask Al" thread with the Camaro engineering team doing this and testing the car on a track so it looks like it shouldn't be a problem

Just a thought, these wheels are heavy and you feel the difference between them and lighter wheels, with lighter wheels accelerating better and being more nimble, I’d go 19”s and slightly skinnier than SS 1LE wheels. Even 19x285 would be way better IME. The wheels do look fantastic, but 20” was a bad idea for GM, possibly because the car was already in C7 territory.

As above. If you are willing to pay for 1LE wheels go buy some 19's instead.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll go with 245s on front and 275s on the rears like a SS. I'll check into 19-inch to get the unsprung weight down (like GM did on the ZL1 1LE).

Check out Apex, I have their 18s but they also have 19s. I am 18x10 all the way around.

I would just go straight to MRR who makes Camaro specific wheels. Not a BMW wheel company

OP: The SS 1LE wheels will fit just fine. Like others have mentioned, you'll gain lots of unsprung weight, but as proven by the Ask Al answer when the Camaro team tested a variety of configurations at Milford PG, the grip from the Supercar 3 tires more than makes up for the weight gain.
Half a second on Apex's website shows they offer wheels for a variety of marques...just like MRR.

They are using their BMW wheel and adapting it for use on a Camaro. It's no Camaro Specific wheel MRR was here with the 5th Gen. Apac is 4 years late for the 6th gen One of these companies cares about the members of this forum and not in for a quick buck ..and ask apex how much for a custom cut 20" wheel... or custom powder coat.... Errr. Nevermind
