One more thing Do not over tighten the spacer. I was worried they would maybe come off,you hear all these stories, but if you over tighten like I did probly as much as 160fp it will warp the spacer over time and cause vibration.
I would say the problems come from some not understanding that that wheel better set complety flush when you put the wheel and tire on the spacer by hand. If you just stick it on and dont make sure its flat flush by hand it will come off at some point I doint care how tight you put it on. That would mean some part of the orignal stud is hitting the back of the wheel. Some just never think about it and tradgey can ensue. m14x1.5 is 85fp acording to tire rack. That what I use 80 to 90 now.

I want to fit spacers on my 2018 SS. I would like to go for 25mm spacers on all four. Can anyone suggest a set of reliable spacers? Also can someone confirm that I will not have to trim the original studs if I use 25mm spacers (I hope not...)?

And what about the RS? I guess it would be the same thing since only the wheel would change? I'd definitely would like to throw a 25mm set if I don't have to cut the studs.

There is another thread here in which experienced posters claim to have had vibration issues with every single spacer, hub centric or not: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=562084. I have no skin in the game (yet), just thought I'd share.

I fitted Eibach 25mm spacers on all four. No vibration at any speed or any other issues. I like the way the car looks now.
