Want to install Hurst knob on stock ZL1 shifter
Has anyone done this or know if it's even possible? I'm looking to install a Hurst (or Hurst-style) white cue-ball shift knob on the factory M6 shifter in my ZL1. I want to leave the stock shift assembly and the stock boot (I have the suede package, BTW) and ONLY replace the knob.
Any ideas? |

That looks awesome! Quite a bit of work though...
However, I've been reading that the ZL1 has a different shift knob and that it doesn't come off like the M6 one on the other cars. Also, the boot has a ring that apparently connects up to the bottom of the knob itself. Do you know anything about this? Thanks so much for sharing. I have no idea about the boot ring connecting to the bottom of the knob. My 2010 wasn't like that. |
