I’ll be driving mine to, but I’m right between my main tracks Daytona/Sebring, they’re not that far at all. Yeah 3/16 front, 1/8 rear, and 1/8 quarters with an addition of NACA ducts for my helmet cooling.

No I’m building for NASA competition, but weight reduction is weight reduction regardless. ..And the ones that build their 1LE for drag is a waste IMO.

I was reading your weights and noticed you had a weight for the Z/28 NPP system. Is it intact and available? I'm in Tampa and can head that way.

So building a 1LE for drag racing is a waste, but removing all that weight for NASA is not? Seems a little backward to me.

The 1LE was designed for handling/road course use and has a close ratio trans.

The SS makes the same HP and can be purchased for less money. Also a wide ratio trans would require fewer shifts.

Update.., I've stopped digging into the car as far as weight reduction. I canceled my CF doors as well. Just gutted my factory doors. So at this point she's going to be what she is. I'll have final weight after the cage and fire suppression system etc.
