Ls3 trans stuff

So I’ve Ben looking around at buying a project car and I’ve already got a v6 camaro but I want to put an ls3 in it so I figured get a project car out my v6 in that and put an ls3 in the camaro but I have one query. If I get an ls3 what transmission works and is it possible to put the 10 speed camaro trans on it or does it only fit a specific trans. If anyone knows anything please help. Thanks

Nuts n bolts will be easy part. Getting all replacement hardware talking to each other.. that will be expensive bits.

Best bet - match factory configurations

Find a used 5th gen SS with the LS3 and go from there. Will be a lot easier and less expensive or just rip all computers out and put a carburetor on a LS3. Like was said, getting all computers and sensors talking together will be the difficult and expensive to do.

That's a very expensive endeavor. I'd reach out to Speartech or other type of company that specializes in LS and LT configurations/swaps to see if a 10spd can be bolted up to LS3. Good Luck....
