2019 Camaro SS or C7 stingray
I'm needing advice from people who have driven these cars. I'm trying to decide what to buy. I can afford a 2014-2016 stingray or I can get a 2019 or 2020 Camaro ss for around the same price will take loans on this URL https://maybeloan.com/installment-loans for it. Thanks for any advice

I've driven both. In this case I'd take the C7 hands down. Assuming there isn't a big difference in miles, condition, etc...

19-20 SS. No other reason than size and ease to get in and out of. Plus it feels safer in traffic to me.

Unless your getting a ZL1 I would go with the C7. Better performance for the same money VS a SS. If you can pull it off go with a GS for a few extra bucks, its well worth it.

Watch out for the A8 C7's. I would never touch another C7 with the A8 . I came from a modded C6 with the A6 and going to the C7 was a big let down all the way around. And if you live in a hot place the glass top in the Vette will make it feel like 150f if it is parked in the sun. |

What about getting a low miles C6 and slapping a super charger to it? if I had not got my Camaro I would have maybe went after like a 2009 Vette. I see lots of them era Vettes with low miles. |

Having owned a C7 Z51 briefly and now a 2SS 1LE, you can't go wrong with either. I will try to summarize the advantage of each car.
C7 Z51: - Lighter and thus feels a bit more nimble - Targa top - Supercar seating position and feel(could be a bad thing if you are older or otherwise handicapped, however) - Big trunk for Coupe SS 1LE: - Better manual transmission, and automatic transmission if we are comparing the A10 to A8. - Rear seats - Easier to enter and exit - More modern features, Infotainment 3>MyLink - Pony car look and feel - If you can get the Recaro seats, they are better than the Touring seats in the C7. Competition seats are very hard to come by on used C7 due to being a standalone option that not a lot of people order, and retrofitting will be very expensive. Honestly, test drive them both and see which one you like. Again, no wrong answers. Quote:
I know an SS 1LE can keep up with a C7 Z51 on a track. GS will be faster, but no way you are getting a used GS for SS money. You'd be paying close to ZL1 money. Sent from toaster or something

I just know the day the sales guy told me to move my new C7 at the dealer when i stepped on the gas and what seemed like i was more than half way down on the pedal before the car moved and saying to myself what the hell is this? I went from more more power and a tune in my C6 to the C7 was like a big let down. The C7 does takes the turns better then my C6 did and it did break better. But power just seemed off. When i first drove my new LT1 for a test drive it felt like nite and day vs the C7. No lag like the C7 and i would guess the A10 makes it feel better also vs the A8 in the C7. There are many low mile C6's with all kinds of mods and super charged. Just make sure you have the car checked out as buying a used modded car can be a crap shoot. |

My thoughts exactly, I know the wide body isn't for everybody but the GS is so much sexier than the standard c7.

Corvette
The Camaro with its great manual transmission and shifter makes it a hard choice, but C7 needs no explanation.

I have a 2015 z06 z07 pkg c7 manual trans car a 2018 ss1le and a 2018 zl1 1le both manual cars. I prefer the manual in the camaros better than the z06. The 7spd is not as nice as the 6 spds in the camaros in my opinion. I prefer driving the camaros over the z06.

I would never buy a used car with a super charger on it. I'd buy one and put it on myself. Like I said here in FL you see lots of Vettes with under 50,000 miles on them. If you're on a budget something like a 2009 vette is a steal and it keeps up with the new Mustangs and Camaros and is cheaper than them. What you describe about the C7 is what my 2012 Mustang GT was like. The car is fast but you gotta really step on the gas for the throttle to respond. My 2016 SS have much much better throttle response than the Mustang. That C7 throttle response can be solved with a tune though. That's why you see so many Mustangs tuned in order to get better throttle response out of the car. I really don't know why they design cars with poor throttle response. The only reason I can think of is safety? Got these 400 plus torque, HP cars and they don't want people smashing the gas too hard and spinning it? That's why my dad got rid of his GTO. The throttle response was so sensitive it was like stepping on eggs and my mom would always spin it out at stop signs and get tickets when he had his 69 GTO. I personally like a touchy throttle. It's just like my guns I like light trigger pulls where I'm in control of it more. |

My 2015 GT seemed ok, but the power down low was nothing like my 2013 C6. |
