The auto has remote start and provides superior acceleration. It also converts to manual if your feeling nostalgic. You just can’t show off rev as easily.

Blipping the throttle to the floor (to activate PSM) is easy and sounds much like a "rev hello".

Definitely manual but I bought an auto due to left knee issues. V8 also!

The 10 speed auto trans is unbelievable, and I absolutely love driving manual 6th gen cars and many C5, C6, C7 corvettes.

I think most manual enthusiasts will argue till the cows come home for the manual. I’ve been driving nothing but stick since I bought my 1990 Beretta GT 5 speed in 1997 at 20 years old. I don’t care if an automatic is .5 seconds faster or 20 seconds faster to 60. When you have an LT1 motor you’re going to be among the fastest cars on the road anyway.

To paraphrase Charlton Heston, they’ll have to pry my stick from my cold, dead hands
