Car Cover recommendation

Is anyone using a car cover (outdoors) they can recommend? I would be parking the vehicle under a car port. I'm looking for something that won't scratch the car and is weatherproof.

they all will allow dirt to get under them and will scratch the car.

I should have bought a ZL1

I’m sure you know if you park outside, mainly due to wind and debris, there will no some unavoidable scratches most likely on lower panels.

I assume you’re trying to protect the bulk of your car hence why you’re looking into a cover. I like CarCovers.com they’re what I used for mine. Works fantastic. I do recommend a thorough wash and detail before putting it on to ensure a clean surface to minimize the likelihood of developing any scratches. The liner is a fleece/microfiber type material and, alone, will not scratch the paint. Don’t cheap out, get the Platinum cover if you’re parking outside.

Most of the good ones will have securing straps and be multiple layers (5+), I recommend one that has mirror pockets, it makes it easier to deploy on a waxed car and it will sit tighter to the vehicle to minimize buffeting. I forget where I got mine but it was under $200 and is well made, I'd check but it's on the car in a rain and wind storm at the moment. GM has a nice looking one, better than your standard silver. https://www.ebay.com/itm/23457475-OE...M/391623366926

I just ordered a Coverking for primarily indoor use. I'll report back once received.

The OP is looking for an outdoor cover, some of those are just indoor dust covers. I dug up what I purchased, it looks and fits great. https://www.carcover.com/gold-shield...pe-2-door.html

Coverking. They don't come cheap but they're well worth it. They make all sorts of OUTDOOR and indoor covers to choose from that will custom fit your car.
