Yes, I installed OBX headers and they fit FLAWLESSLY.
I bought a set of OBX headers and exhaust from ebay and figured, if I don't like it I'll just get something else and send them back. I was doing the labor so it's just time for me.
Well, suprise suprise...the fit was absolutely, 100% perfect. No rubbing on shaft, no rubbing anywhere. The install on the driver's side was a piece of cake, passenger side sucked but I guess they're all that way. Plus, it brings a full 3" exhaust that connects to the factory mufflers. And the exhaust fit was also perfect, zero rubbing anywhere. They didn't come with an O2 extension so I had to buy one from Casper Electronics and I used a new pair of oem gaskets cause the ones they brought were a joke. With that being said, the only issue I think are with the clamps it brings. The exhaust has multiple pieces and they are slip fit. They use these band clamps that look pretty crappy and they leak like crazy. Anyone have suggestions for better claps...or perhaps I should just weld it all together? |

I've been an OBX guy for a long time, lol!! As far as the clamps, every exhaust company gives out those cheap ass clamps. I don't ever use them. You can get heavy duty clamps at Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advance Auto, or any auto parts store.

I had obx headers on my 2010 SS. after install they rubbed slightly on the steering shaft. A little dimple done with a socket did the trick.
Glad to hear these fit with no issues.

I have pics that I tried to get to show fitment but for some reason they didn't come out well. Some make it seem like the header is rubbing, when it isn't. I think it's cause I used flash on some. Anyways, here are some pics.
I also changed the wires to wires with angled boots to make for more room so they wouldn't touch the headers and used heat sleeves. |

I was wondering about the wires and heat sleeve.
Also wouldn’t speed engineering be better? Quote:

Kooks headers + Green pipes = $2233
OBX headers + Kooks Green pipes= $ 1783 Am strongly considering getting these headers, junking everything after the headers, and using these + Kooks green Kats connected to my Borla Cat back

All and all, makes no sense to me. Especially considering I've got some mild Chinese steel bolted to my American V8. No thank you. Go the Kooks/ARH route. You won't regret it. Not hating on the OP or those who like/run the cheap stuff, but I prefer to buy once and buy right. Time and place for cutting corners or saving money, exhaust/headers is not one of those times. |

That price is way too close to consider taking a huge risk on those OBX headers. I'd go with Texas Speed headers over the OBX ones if you are looking to save a few bucks.
