Stock spark plug torque spec?

I'm planning on replacing my stock plugs with new stock plugs. I can't seem to find proper torque values. I only seem to find a range. 17-22 ft/lbs. Does anyone know the exact torque spec? Thanks

Anti seize the threads, hand tight and 1/4 turn. It's not much.

I've seen both and still use it. I just use enough to lightly coat the threads. I don't glob it on.

If you've ever broken off a spark plug, you'll use the anti seize. LOL

I did a few yesterday...tapered seat so certainly not a quarter turn (with gasket).

Getting the boots off is the pain.

Pretty sure the owners manual stated 10 lb/ft on the 5th Gen. I had those out and back a few times without issue- with anti-seize.

Haven't touch this one yet though... and I just looked and see what you mean about the boots! Glad they're protecting the wires but jeez, I'm gonna allow plenty of cooling time before I do touch'em!

Make sure it’s the dielectric anti seize

the spec is 11ftlbs (132inlbs) on the LS and LT motors. New ac delco plugs do not require anti seize as they have a coating on them already. if reinstalling old plugs you should use a lite coat of anti seize.

I should have bought a ZL1
