I don't understand whats taking so long I read an article that said companies knew there was going to be a rotor design out(the 2650) while they where making the 2300 so they left room in housing to accommodate the new rotor. I can only assume they were talking about the dodge and mustang since they are all ready out.

5k seems a bit high if the kit doesn't need a lower pulley or balancer, crank pin kit, tensioner, water pump, heat exchanger, filter box, and electronics or various hoses..

would sell the crap out of them at 3k especially since they are on the way out.
With the track record that the 5th gen Maggie HB ZL1 system has, I don't foresee Magnuson having a problem selling them. It won't be a high production unit but it will be better than most other options at the price point. It won't be for everyone but we can't wait to make big numbers on these units

All the best,

Are you blind? He answered your question literally 5 minutes after you asked it the first time. No there's no hood clearance issues either.

could you pulley down on the 2300 to something like 14-16lbs without upgrading fuel and experiencing heat soak? Also what would be the power out put guesstimate of something like that?

On 16 lbs we've made 772/788 from the 2300 maggie on an LT1 Camaro with LT4 fueling. We made that number on E60 and with Meth which would indicate that you'd have the fuel especially if you are planning to run pump as E85 requires 30% more fuel. I would recommend E85, Meth or both at those power levels.

As far as heat soak goes, you will get some heat soak at those power levels from the 2300 blower. It doesn't make the car a pig by any stretch but you aren't going to run your fastest times when its warm. I typically make a run and then cool for a while before my next pass.

Let me know what further questions you may have.

All the best,

I agree. I have thought about this because the 2300 should be enough for what I would realistically get out of this car, but don't understand why it's $5k for essentially just a blower all by it's self.

Higher OEM quality unit than Whipple = $$$

Most LT4 guys I've seen are making 100-120+ whp easy on mustang dyno with intake/2300 blower/headers on stock fuel system, all day long. Not sure that everyone appreciates making that power consistently vs. a hero run on stock blower then a 2 hour cool down

Seen intake/tb/2300 blower/headers/cam/ported stock heads making ~200whp on mustang dyno running into fuel roadblocks.

Should be getting one done in the next couple weeks here on my car. Give you guys a report once all done.

I would love to know the difference between these 2 setups...

Headers, CAI, and stock blower with a lower or upper vs the 2300 magi, headers, and CAI(no fuel mods other than a lift pump or Aux pump)

no meth, no 93 and e85 just head to head to where they can be tuned safely.. on 93 only

Stock A10 base line on my ZL1 was 555hp and 559tq. With LT4 Heartbeat and supplied 80mm pulley, complete ARH exhaust/no cats & Rotofab, achieved 641hp and 625tq on 93 octane.

Guess you would need a cam change as well to get to 700 on 93/100? My end game goal is 700-725rwhp range. Just having a hard time deciding how i want to get there after seeing what others have gotten with there mods.

Hm, that doesn’t look like much. There are dozens of guys with stock SC doing pulley swap, intake, and LT headers making similar if not a bit more HP/TQ.
