Good find!
Not sure that we can definitively say that this is a convertible, though. Unless it's a hard-top convertible, not sure why they'd bother 'dazzle' painting the roof underneath the covering. True that this has a different roof covering than other prototypes, but I suppose it could be because of a sunroof or something along those lines. |

This author claims his info says hard top vert.
http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...maro-spy-video Well....he has taken that out of the article. But when I first read it, it was there. Last edited by DenverTaco07; 10-19-2014 at 05:26 PM. |

Yea a hard top vert would be pretty cool if done right! Definitely not an option for performance! Probably add a lot of weight and take up more trunk space.

yeah, weight is already an issue with normal ragtops, so I would imagine even more.
However, maybe we are looking at T tops here? or Stingray-like removable top...now that I would spend some $$ on. |

T-tops would be amazing, and a hardtop convertible would be sweet as well. As long as it's a ragtop, I really would never consider it.

Looks like the standard shots of the heavily camouflaged cars. Not sure what is unique that would give anyone the idea it's a convertible, hard top or otherwise.

A hard top is even more difficult to make it seal perfect. I would stick with the soft top. You can make a soft top seal perfect.
