Turbo4s with the M6 are the same... 5th is to tall for major hwys and 6th is useless; I'd be in for this even if I had to do the axles and drive shaft as well to make it work

If you're willing to go that far, call up GForce and get the 9" conversion. Bolts in, still IRS, and more gear choices then you'll ever actually need! Be prepared to shell out over $5K though.

The diff in th 6G Camaros has gears fused to the differential carrier. There’d have to be an aftermarket differential and then gears could be made. OS Giken was looking at this, but have likely dropped out.

I am not sure that the ZL1 and 1LE eLSD has fused pinions like the SS, its a totally different pumpkin.

No, you are right. My statement was too much of a blanket...

One solution is to go to a smaller wheel with a shorter tire and lower the car. 26" tire with a 3.73 is not a bad combination.

I'm running a Tremec 6060 in my 68 Camaro with 4.11s and it's perfect but my trans is close ratio so 6th gear is .62. 75 mph is 2400 rpm. Might even consider a 4.30 in the newer cars with the longer 6th gear..

I know this is a long shot, but have there been any updates on this?
