This happened locally, latest is that Winston has been returned to his owners and ordered to go through two obedience classes. Judge let him go due to his good behavior while incarcerated. He's now on parole,and it's probaby in his best interest not to chew up anything again.

City reportedly plans to sue Winston's owners in order to get the 3 grand they say is required to fix the Crown Vic.

They did have him evaluated by vets and dog psychologists, and it turned out that he's actually a very nice dog towards people. It was the owners fault that he didn't have a fence and that winston didn't have a leash.

Winston probably just wanted to make some new friends with the other dogs by impressing them or just like all of us happens to have issues with the cops
