...when 20-something males all turn their heads at the same time when you downshift into a parking lot
...when you always park at the far end of the lot
...when your hand can touch the top of the instrument pod & the top of the windshield at the same time
...when you scope out a section of freeway for cops before WOT coming back on the other side
...when you see few other 6th gens on the road

I had a friend like that he no longer talks to me because he cant stand the fact that a camaro will wreck his Porsche. He has many of them and also some gm cars and they are all awesome cars but in his mind its a status thing and a Porsche cant possibly be out done by a camaro and well it can for less money as well

(Mother hadn't driven a Camaro since the mid 80's) (She said she thought she was only doing about 80mph)

[My experience was fun, first time I felt my car pull hard, my stomach was pushed back into the seat far more severely than I expected. Something I wonder if anyone notices in the driver's seat]

And her comment to me after was, "I want one, but I can't get one because I'll get in way to much ef'ing trouble!" lol

So in 2019 I bought a 2018 ss 1le from a member on here in Tennessee. My 72 yr old dad at the time flew with me to Nashville we drove to his house looked at the car and bought it with 2495 miles on the clock. It was a fully built car and at the time made 842 rwhp. We dropped the rental car off and we drove to the corvette museum and then on to Bristol before calling it a day after19 hours of flying and driving and looking at cars. In The morning we got up and I drove from Bristol to the bottom of Pa on 81 and we were in need of gas bad and I saw a Sheetz gas station. I pulled in and filled it with 93 and said I hope this gas is ok. My dad offered to drive so he took the wheel and he drove thru Pa into NJ and he was merging from 78 onto 287n and it was moderate traffic and there was a black Mercedes that would not let him in so he decided to make a hole for himself and in 4th gear at 50 he rolled in the throttle and the car snapped about 45 degrees sideways and when it snapped back my head hit the passenger side window pretty hard and I could see him wheeling it and I said you got this he said I think so. He managed to save it and was silent for about 2-3 miles and then said I think that gas was fine I almost sheetz my pants. We both bursted out laughing and I will never forget that time I had with my Dad. We still talk about it and laugh today.
Enjoy the memories these things bring us

...when you have told your cute hair stylist about your Camaro (and noticed how excited she was when you showed her pictures of it) and want to take it with you to get your hair cut, but are worried about then getting hairs in the car so you have to weigh the pros and cons of driving it to get your hair cut. It also doesn't help that they slather a lot of lotion on your arms during the cut (it's a somewhat spa-for-men-hair cutting place --- they have a pool table in the hair cutting area and give you free beer to off-set the immasculinity of being a guy going into a "spa", if that helps).

...when you have a scrum chart (video) to weigh the above factors (there's a threat of rain, so the Camaro stays in the garage)...

OH and the video below NSFW.

You know you drive a Camaro....

When your facial muscles hurt from the huge smile on your face from the time you get in the car till you get out. Then you have a sad face because you are not behind the wheel driving it.

Is that why Camaros in the 80's were driven by guys with mullets?
