Grill insert ideas and help needed to make reality
Here are the images. They are not professional or anything just an idea that I haven't seen anywhere else. I'd like to connect with someone who can print these or create molds or something. I'm not sure if 3D printing would work or be durable enough maybe ABS plastic or fiberglass?
Any help would be appreciated. I'm not looking to make this a business either and won't try to sue if you take the idea and run with it. I just want these on my car! I also added a poll to gage interest V1 V2 V3 V4 Last edited by steelew; 03-19-2022 at 06:56 AM. Reason: typos |

Voted #4… by far the best look.
I do like the 19+ design, but it looks even better adding those vertical bars to encircle the grill. |

Personally I like the 19+ design, but V4 is the best of the four options presented.

I am thinking unless these are integrated with the bumper, they will be hard to fit securely. The only way to get a true bond would be to take the paint down to the fiberglass and have a professional fiberglass repair shop fab something up. I don't think attaching any separate parts will hold up well.

I say V4 as well. V1 would work for me with the floating bar but it wouldn't be all that secure and maybe even a hazard at speed.
