I'd say that is pretty fast. I would try mine for comparison but as it is I'm a bit scared of this thing. And I need new tires to handle this power. Just doing some 1/2 throttle punches from about 50 and this thing felt like it wanted to get sideways. So I'll have to take my time until I get more used to it and get some new tires. |

.82 isn't too rich...there is data all over the world wide web supporting that is the target for max safe power. Several guys over at HPT forum support that. Jeremy Formato is the only tuner I know running FI cars at NA AFR's. And as I mentioned before he could be compensating for his dyno wideband reading leaner then what it really is. The best way to tune is by giving the setup what it wants. Read the plugs and look at the log data. Widebands are not 100% accurate.
I can see in the logs tuning my brothers H/C 2650 Z06 that it makes the most power in the .82-.84 range on his wideband. Either way congrats on the build...get some tires for it!

Doing the BMR rear suspension upgrade will help with the the rear end sway under acceleration.
I am not as brave as Jeramy had my afr. I have been dialing it in to run on my own to be in the .85 to .87 range. I'm ok with that range. Lot of folks on various ZO6 sites use that range with good success. I also spoke with the guy from Goats Garage and agreed. I found I can run e30, be in the .85 to .87 Lambda range and injector pulse width not go over 6.1.

NT555R2's are pretty good tires. They should handle your power from a 40 roll.

Yes they are good all around tires. I have a set of those Nitto 555r2 tires in the rear of my Hellcat in a 305-35-20 which will be the same size you will get them in for your Z as well. I have a little over 3k miles on them so far with several burnouts with them at the track and mainly daily drive with them. They seem to have a decent amount of tread left. I might get about another 2-3 k miles out of them. If your just daily driving with them and minimal burnouts you might expect to get 6-8k out of them or possibly more depending on your driving style. They stick pretty good for what they are. I have done a few test runs with them on my Hellcat and depending on the street surface I have hooked as low as a 2nd gear 30 mph roll with just a slight minimal slip and recovers quickly right after that and goes. 40 mph roll and up dead hooks. I have used these tires at the track on a prepped surface and they hooked pretty well from the start. Camaro guys can expect to hook better since they put the power down better with that Alpha chasis. Also these tires corner pretty decently for a drag radial. They even hold up well in the rain. I have drivin at highway speeds of 70 mph in the rain with them and I felt like I wasn’t even driving a drag radial. I am still careful with driving in the rain with drag radials but these impressed me how they handle the wet since I have driven them in the rain quite a few times with no sign of feeling uncomfortable with them. I would definitely keep the PS4s up front as they do good for channeling water out of the way from the Nittos. Also for what it’s worth I have found setting them at around 26-28 psi seemed to be good range to keep them in for daily drives and traction purposes whenever you need to do a street hit. I’d definitely recommend you get the BMR stuff as mentioned plus these tires and you will enjoy your heavily modded car a lot more. The car will spin a lot less and hook up much better to the point where your balls will fly into the back seat. |

Might want to double check as I am not 100% sure, but I thought the lower coolant tank is usually empty?

For the bottom reservoir the manual says to fill it about half way when cold. The top was low and the bottom was empty when I got the car back but I didn't get any alerts or warnings. I filled it and still no alerts or warnings. So who knows? Lol. |

Hey Blaq, see you didn't get a CC you know you have to at least lift the SC off to put on a new fitting. Trying to remember every part you need and pay for everything to save money later, made my list longer than I thought. Would like to hear it.
I am glad you guys are talking tires. After my build I know the PS4S tires in the rear aren't going to get it. I was under the understanding using different manufacture tires is a no,no. My concern is to not affect handling but, improving dig will also be necessary. Those that are running drag radials what wheel /tire size do you find to work best. I won't be tracking the car or the strip just street.
