Any Key Fob Tricks?

Just out of curiosity, does the key fob have any hidden talents?

For exmaple, in my prior cars you could hold down the unlock button and the windows would roll down, hold the lock button and they would roll back up.

Hold the unlock button for a few seconds and the windows roll down, they can't come back up though lol.

I haven't had the time to try it out yet, I assumed this was pretty much a standard feature since the late 2000's. No other tricks of the key fob.. like when the car is on double tap the lock button for a 3500RPM rev

Yeah, suckers disabled it on the US model, as I've recently learned. The EU/Asia trim does close windows when holding down the lock button on the fob. Must be another BS safety/liability "feature". I'd build in a safety disengage on upward movement resistance instead, but that costs money.

Remote Start

Press the lock button and then the round arrow button for 4 seconds. Love the look on people's faces as the car starts with no one in there....

Yep, windows down is the only "hidden talent" I think it has. The Auto Start, lock activation and trunk release are all indicated on the fob.

I actually use the windows down feature quite often (I did on my 370Z also). My Camaro has a black interior and I live 40 miles north of Florida so I will roll 'em down as I am walking to the car to evacuate the heat.
