I have yet to measure my 10% lower pulley but I'm assuming for now the OEM is 7.87" so 10% should be 8.66/3"x7000 = 20,200rpm. Greg likes this number. On the other hand, this WeaponX table shows 8" OEM. Either way, the rpm won't vary much. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=521860

Jeez. I had concluded OEM is 2.5" upper and either 7.87 or 8" lower.

So I'm sitting pretty good at 8.3 and 3.0 at 1000 plus? Yes? No maggy has posted that high of a power level with those combos. Ive seen some 10 inch lowers and 3.0 inch uppers! I admit I have a terrible approach bringing info but it really made me mad how these maggy sponsors and Mike made claims about the competition that simply weren't true. Also i didnt appreciate the lying about the 2650 release date and then being pushed a POS 2300 instead. I also pointed out a lot stuff they had in bullets on the their web page and now those claims are gone. I never ever saw them with an edelbrock 2650 performing the same tests as they did on mikes vette all they had were numbers. And when I simply swapped blowers not at where I'm sitting today of course his number were way off just like his advertised gains on his vette. People are not getting the same results as him, you've seen the threads in the zl1 section I'm sure . I had nothing to do with them instead there brushed over from out of whack dynos and tuners. I'll admit it I'm a big baby when I know im right and they put me down for proving my point I won't ever let that go.
Really I could careless I know what I have done and the money I spent was way cheaper. I went out and did it myself I didn't have to listen to someone hype it up and be like a sheep following someone off a cliff with out thinking about things. I have a solid build fixing to hit 3 years. I know edelbrock isn't as prestigious as a maggy mainly from the bad hype the ls 2300 got and it was spot on it sux azz. This allowed maggy and other shops to make claims with out presenting equal testing and just going on hypothesis and hearsay much like csp did when they had all the blowers sitting in the table. RPM, Fran makes plenty of power with them has good iats and says he likes them and he also says the ls2300 version a piece of $#%^. Anyhow I'm running 10/12 above ambient on my iat 2 and about 24 degrees above ambient on maf air temp no matter the outside temp.. Toohighpsi or Shizzy made a post that I would need a chiller to have as good as iats as the maggi so I bought one.. I ended up getting rid of it cuz I didn't need it. It just proves how wrong they were about the competition. Anyhow it's all good they are all good blowers but that's not how the competition presented both 2650 so I added my own findings. Probably went about it the wrong way but who cares no one pays me to conduct myself in a certain manner and I don't care what people think of me.

At 8.87/3" I'll be 20600-ish. Is yours the same Kong TVS2650 that I bought?

I think mine is ported more actually atleast compared to what my friends was that I saw 2 weeks ago. I'm just going off of visual looking down the snout of course. Mine was done by hand so he could scan it to software to cnc the rest.

The bosses for future port injection also added to this SC's appeal.

I went back and looked at all of the pulley combos I’ve had trying to find one that got blower RPM to what you’re aiming for. When I first got the 2650 I had a 3.15/9.17 combo, so roughly ~20k RPM. We were shifting around 6800 at the time. It made 994 RWHP on an off the shelf 2650 (no porting) through an A10. This was prior to having a port injection option so it was on C16. Would have made a little more on ethanol.

No idea what they did, but every combo the car has had has a trap speed with a race weight to show that it aligns very closely to the dyno, if not showing a little more. I think "better" is subjective at this point considering Tim King in his C7 was the quickest and fastest Edelbrock 2650 for LT's I've seen and I'm already matching his trap speeds with a heavier car, and just added a couple hundred more RWHP (and dropped weight)..

BTW, hypothetically, let's say you were to do a half dozen races this season in Georgia. How often would you adjust your ECM/TCM tunes?

I'm sure I wouldn't recommend an interchiller (not a fan), but everything from my C7 Z06 is accurate. Many people tend to forget that I had an LT Engine on the Engine Dyno at Magnuson running tests and developing an understanding for LT tuning parameters since 2014. There isn't a calibration value inside that engine from Cam Timing to SOI that I didn't understand and optimized for the combination on my cars. Please don't think for a minute that you're going to throw a 2650 on your car, tune it yourself and expect the same results in an afternoon. Even the 700+ HP pulls on pump gas were the result of upwards of 50-60 chassis dyno pulls after extensive engine dyno pulls to hit that WOT tune. I wasn't limited on dyno time, resources, or education relating to the LT engine to optimize the system. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done, you just might not have worked at it as hard or had the resources that I had...
