1-2 shift delay after Torque converter

So about 3 weeks ago I installed the converter and I’m getting a huge delay on the 1-2 shift but only at the track when it hooks . On the street it’s perfect . It all started when I went to the track right after my torque converter install, it was short shifting at 5500-5700 . I still experienced the delay but still went 6.86 which he been my personal best in the 1/8. Then I took it back to tuner and he tuned the trans/converter together and added 4 more mphs to the 1-2 shift . Went back to the track and the it felt like the 1-2 was too long and hitting the rev limiter. Car ran a worse and did a 6.92. So finally went back to the tuner took 2mphs off and it shifted at 6100-6200 at the track but still has that delay . Like it falls on its face then picks up again. I have no idea what it could be but it has to be in the tune or the converter lockup. . It’s a circle D 3X 3600-3800 stall.
The weird thing is that when at the track twice it spun a little and it shifted perfect, but when it hooks it always has that delay or rough shift . Keep in mind , this is only at the track when it dead hooks . On the street it’s shifts perfect just like before the converter . Has anybody had this issue after a converter swap?
Also , Every other gear is shifting perfect . At this point it’s frustrating because I can’t keep going back to my tuner again . Any help will be appreciated. Car is a 2021 LT1 FBO/E85 ,converter.

Nevermind guys . Found out my tuner forgot to unlock the converter on the 1-2 shift . Now it is smooth as butter . Hopefully this will get me that 6.7 I’m looking for in the 1/8 mile .
