4L80 swap

I’m currently manual and as fun as it is I have gotten more and more into drag racing over the 3 years I’ve had the car. Looking to get into an automatic but Ive modified my car already so don’t really want to sell and buy a factory auto. I know it is possible to do a TH400 swap and there is some information out there on that. I however would like to have an overdrive gear so I can still take the car onto the highway if I wanted to. Has anyone seen a 4l80 put into anything or have any information regarding it? Swapping to a 8 or 10 speed I would be open to as well but I’m sure it would be quite a bit more costly.

Crawford makes the M6 to TH400 adapter that lets the car keep push button start, etc. I’d give him a call and see if he has any thoughts about your idea.
