LT5 ZR1 95mm Throttle Body

Does anyone know the part number for the LT5 95mm throttle body?

Just a heads up, they have to be modified in order to fit anything other than the LT5. We keep them on the shelf, ready to bolt on. We modify them in house on our CNC mill.

Pray is the only one I've heard of adapting them to work on the OEM intake..

I am the one that let him know how to modify them. Not saying he couldn't have figured it out himself.

If you plan to use a factory intake, the intake will have to be ported in order to accommodate the larger blade and opening. We don't port factory intakes so that would be something you have to get from him.

Found it. 12669871 For $225 shipped these are a bargain for guys that are willing to take the time to ream out the holes on the throttle body flange. This will definitely lower the pain involved swapping over to an MSD by not having to spend quite as much for a 102 throttle body

We sell a kit for that also, keeps the cost down on the MSD manifold. Free shipping and you don't have to worry about doing any modifying yourself in order to make it all work.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification that it's more of a clearance issue than a fitment one.

That is a great bargain compared to the NW103 and a do-it-yourselfer can really pinch some pennies here. Thanks for taking the time and sharing the part number with us.

So no adaptor needed to fit a stock intake?

A stock LT1 intake won’t accomodate the LT5 95mm throttle body. The intake opening is too small. Furthermore, the throttle body bolt pattern is different between the LT1 and LT5. Modifications would be necessary.

If you're not porting the manifold to have the same size opening as the TB, is it really worth it? That's why we always just go to the MSD manifold.

I got the Tick Ported 95MM TB. Nice product. The car def feels hella snappier and more instant throttle response. I previously had a Ported Stock TB.

I have not made it back to the dragstrip yet. I will report soon.

Bretts/Prays testing was good tho. Seems Ported 95mm TB is the happy mix with gains over the Ported Stock TB....
