Smile Looking for an air ride suspension/air bag kit for 2017 2SS

So after my 2015 SS was stolen last month, I have been searching for a multi-layer security system before I buy my new 2016/2017 SS.
My husband, who has had air bags on his Chevy truck for a decade, suggested getting them for my new car since lowering the car completely when I park, would make it extremely difficult for the car to be driven or towed, especially with the parking brake on and parked facing out.

All kits I have found stop at 2015. Has anyone seen a good kit out there available for gen 6? Not looking to change the aesthetics and Improve the style so springs won't work.

Does anyone have any thoughts or input about this idea for a security feature?
Thanks!

It would be much easier and cheaper to just pop your hood and remove something that prevents the car from starting. If someone is determined to tow it away, I don't think you're going to be able to stop them.

I believe Air Lift Performance is in the process of making kits for the 6th Gen since they were popular with the 5th Gen Camaros.

I'd check with Ride tech or air ride technology which is same company. I had Air Technologies system on my 93 impala clone. Great system.

My husband spoke with the manufacturer of the air bags he has (ride tech) on his truck. The Camaro bags for every kit and site I could find, only goes up to the 2015 model. The man told my husband that he double checked, and the 2015 version will fit the 2016. Since the 16-17 bodies are virtually the same, he thinks I'm they would have to work for the 2017.

The reasons why those do not work is this
On star and low jack are useless unless you are aware someone is taking your car. You wouldn't be aware unless it was lucky timing.
2:thieves can easily steal the code on your key fob. Not only does it allow them to unlock the doors, and it can start your car with one click if it has a push button start. Since most alarms are tied to your key fob, it wouldn't activate the alarm when they unlocked the door because your system recognizes the code and "thinks" it's linked up with its fob.
Therefore, if you do not receive an alert with your two way alarm that something is wrong, three hours later, when you are going to leave for lunch, you realize the car is gone. Y then they have removed the gps antenna or components.

I do believe thieves will find a way to take it if they want it. I just want to make everything so difficult that they regret messing with my car.
Sorry it's so long, but I am hoping this helps. Like I said before, I am now a near pro when it comes to car security.

Hey Art,
Off topic here, but how do you like the red seat accents with the garnet red tint? I was wondering if the colors were too different. One more bright red and one more burgundy. Got any pics?

I'm also considering Air Ride for my car.

I don't know of anything available yet, but I'm looking at the Air Lift 3H/3P system.
Should be available within a few months.
I'll be talking to the mfg at SEMA next month.
I have a buddy who's shop works with them a lot on development and he's going to help out in motivating them to get something ready for our platform.

3H is what I am considering also. It'll be mainly a daily but will see the track at least 5-10 times a year so the 3H capabilities are perfect. After going static on my previous vehicles and having to deal with taking angles over speed bumps and any type of small obstacle, being able to just lift the car with a button press will be a welcome change. Was gonna do coils but for a street car I believe air ride would be the best bet. Sorry a bit off topic lol

OP I would also wait until after SEMA to see what is announced. I'm sure the major Air companies will have systems available by early next year, I would think.

Hmm, well if Airlift doesn't have a kit out by spring when I order my car (Michigan winters, not ordering now lol) then I will drive to Lansing and allow them to use mine to make a kit if need be. I may actually just pay them a visit in the coming weeks to see if they have plans for the 6th gen or not. Also custom is always an option.
