Stock shifter is kinda meh in my opinion. I had a GMM ripper on my gto. NOW THAT was a shifter. I hope they make one for the remote mount

The shifter is pretty much the only thing I don't like, and it will be my 1st mod, now to wait for the choices, MGW, Hurst or Hinson.

I run an MGW on my Mustang and frankly, the MGW was the best modification I have ever done to thecar. George seems like good people as well from alot of the things I have read about him and his company. I will continue to support bad ass american craftsmanship from companies like MGW. Not to mention, there is nothing like a MGW shifter out there, nothing can compare to that smooth mechanical thump of a MGW. Its really amazing.
Cant wait till George releases one for the Gen6. |

Too bad a shifter install on these cars seems to be a nightmare. Gotta drop the driveshaft and exhaust...

This is from the email George sent me where I offered to set up a group-buy for us...haven't heard anything new yet though:
The development of the 2016 camaro will start end of this year but it will not be ready until spring. it takes me several months to test and make sure its good to go. we will be track trsting it etc first of the year. I printed off your email and its in our folder!! I will contact you as soon as its ready!! George

Here's an update...not good news I'm afraid:
Well we had a BUNCH of delays on previous projects and had some factory equipment upgrades that delayed ALL future product development. But...the GT350 is done. The Gen 5 camaro redo is done and we take delivery of our 2017 1le this monday. So we WILL get to work on it but its looking like late summer now. almost a year late i know :( George

I can't wait. Their shifters are the shit. Nothing like a clean crisp shifter to make your driving expierence even better. |

That would be awesome but it sounds like he already bought a 1LE. It looks like their goal is to 1 up the 1LE / ZL1 shifter which is the same one we would buy online to upgrade the 1 and 2 SS. It's another year away so it's a tough decision. I need to drive GM's to compare it against the current one. If it's not a huge improvement I'm going to wait for MGW.

Glad to hear that it is still in the works at least. Don't mind waiting for the MGW. Love mine.
