Corsa NPP Valve Not Fully Closing?

In stealth/closed mode one muffler is still quite loud and sounds like the valve is not fully closed. I can't figure out why /what the issue is. Have chopped the valve connector butterfly things years back but now the rattle has returned when valves are closed and it is much louder than it should be in "closed" mode. Has anyone found a way to address/fix?

can see the flapper in the tail pipe and see if it's fully closed, or not?

Maybe contact Corsa support to see what they can do for you. KingLT1 has the Corsa NPP and they have replaced his.

Thanks I bought it off someone so don’t know how helpful they will be.

To answer other question it’s hard to see valves with corsa since there’s a curve in pipe unlike factory npp

same thing happen with my afe one also before the flapper valves get stuck sometimes or maybe it just needs to replaced

The Corsa while sounds amazing, definitely has a problem with their valve design. I am on my 3rd set of mufflers and have another valve rattling.

Corsa sent me a service kit that places a spring loaded washer on the button head end of the valve shaft. The problem is my valves are still the gen 1 that is all 1 piece. The last set of mufflers I received were supposed to be gen 2 which are serviceable.

So currently I am going back and forth with Corsa. Now they want to know if the car is modified...blah blah. Told them it's no different than a ZL1. Waiting to hear back.

This puts our struggle with stock NPP valves into perspective a bit... if Corsa couldn't fix this properly on their mega expensive exhaust kit, serviceable parts or not, in 7+ years, no wonder GM's design isn't perfect either...
