So they are expecting it to start at 2k, if you want dual widebands add another 1k. Then plates and injectors are probably another 1k? So you are looking at minimum 3k for port injection not counting the low side. At that price point should we not be looking at just upgrading the direct injection? The only thing I could see for the upside is that with the port injection your upper hp limit would be higher. Am I missing something vital here?

Depends on your HP goal. The Katech/LPE/XDI big DI stuff will let you run 1K WHP already (see my signature). But if you want to go much further than that, especially on full E, then port is pretty necessary.

Ok just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I am all for more options and competition, especially if it causes stuff to get more mainstream and cheaper. Hoping to see some good used xdi and big hpfp for sale here soon.

Well you might be disappointed lol… those of us with big DI stuff would not get rid of that even if we added port injection…. DI makes more power than port so I would run the DI out as much as reasonably possible then use port to make up the difference.

This thing is disgusting. I kind of want it, lol. I hope I run out of fuel on my build so I have an excuse. Unfortunately due to the lack of E85 in my region, I don't even have an excuse to get away from DI. I'll be using Boostane as a safety blanket. Bumping 91 to 96 octane (approximately).

At least with the PI you're getting the intake valves cleaned as a bonus!

It is my understanding this isn't the end-all-be-all. By that, I mean they aren't going to be the only game in town. DSX did admit they can allow for more information after the patent work's done I think. While this looks good and all, it sounds like this integration may not be as complicated as their marketing might suggest. The idea of it sounds fantastic, but I hear, with the technology that's now out there and available, it's not as big a deal as we're being led to believe...

His FB posts say they're looking at about $2K to start.
