I had first thought the ss 1le had additional cooling from gm promotional material, then i was corrected here on the forums by some saying the 1le package adds NO additional cooling for the v8... now again i see in a car and driver article stating the 1le v8 package adds additional cooling. What's the deal?

It doesn't say that it receives ADDITIONAL cooling, only that it HAS "coolers for the...".

I don't believe the standard SS gets coolers for the diff, engine oil and transmission.

Yes, as it’s literally written they could add it also includes a steering wheel and be true. As a prospective buyer I’m interested in what’s SPECIFIC to the 1le package.
I could further wonder if any of the listed items are ‘additional’, making the list totally meaningless. That’s why I’m making this post.

LOL....if you're gonna be a smart a$$ you can probably just as soon get the info yourself as it is ALL over this forum. You wouldn't even have to search as there is literally a sticky on this!

Dude, the car and drivers article is new, I see contradictory info on this forum, even in the third post of this thread!!! The Camaro is in its 3rd year of production, so maybe things are different now. I’m asking a perfectly reasonable question.

Does the 2018 Camaro 1ss 1le package include coolers not on a non-1le 1ss?

I stand corrected. They're all standard equipment on all SS+ models.

What about the air deflectors for the front brakes? I think they are additional above the standard SS.

The track cooling package includes a diff, transmission, and larger engine oil cooler. I've had both 1LEs and non 1LEs on my lift, the regular SS does not have those coolers. Huge difference
