I'm not one to question why someone else buys what they buy, but if your reason for NOT buying a particular vehicle is because you won't receive commentary on it, you might need to do some self-reflection.

main reason i sold it was it drove like crap. hood flutter driveline clunk stability issues. crap low torque motor. i will never own another ford. every single ford i have ever owned i ended up hating it. dont get me started on thoes s197's lol. sooner take the bus than ever drive another one of them car i owned

Thanks, Fran
I felt exactly the same way about the 1979 Malibu I owned for more than 30 years even when the way I had equipped it didn't meet with complete approval by a number of others. By the time I've decided to shell out my money on a car, it's not going to matter what anybody else thinks of it. Not even if they hate it so bad that they'd rather take the bus . . . Norm

That is a really pretty Mustang though. I have been on the Mustag forum and they do seem to have more issues than our Camaro's have. Hand built motors seem to be blowing up a lot. |

I'm with you. This has the base Mustang seats too. A fully loaded Mach with a 10 speed will get very close to 70k. SEVENTY!!!!!

$58K msrp and cloth interior (likely over $60k w/ markup)? Yikes. Might as well get a ZL1 at that marked up price - a ZL1 will destroy the Mach 1 in every performance metric and has a fully loaded interior. And IMO the Z will look better while beating up on the Mach 1. I did see a Mach 1 w/ the appearance package this last weekend and it looked pretty cool (just not ZL1 good).
