throttle response tune
Hi,
those with a 2016 M6 SS know what I'm talking about with the mushy throttle response... So last year I put it the vtc, it works good, then I put in a ported throttle body, response is much better,.... now with warranty end coming close, Im looking for anyone's advise / experience on ordering a throttle tune online or in the Toronto/GTA area? Has anyone tuned their M6 for throttle response? Thanks

So you guys find the throttle controllers work? Like the vitesse?
I’ve been kinda looking at the reviews. Kinda thinking about getting one. |

Yes they work well but if you get a ported tb not required as much.i can use full range on stock tb .only about 3 on controller Wich is perfect with ported tb.when going wot. any higher check engine so far. Was looking for others trying same thing.i might just sell throttle controller and live with about 75 percent better with ported tb. Used to run a minimum of sp5(old BMW guy like that tip in 0 to 50 pedal equal to 0 to 100 without mapping or 50 percent pedal is wot)

On that note, I think I've finally found the best set-up to give best throttle response without a tune. These are my settings: 1. Ported throttle body, biggest difference for a manual car 2. Steering =Track: I have found this ACTUALLY does affect throttle because nannies kick in if throttle is pressed and car is not dead straight, track steering makes it easier to keep steering dead straight. 3. Exhaust=Track 4. Drive mode= Track with ONLY T/C off (one press of the button) 5. Suspension=TOURING b/c it allows the car to rock back on accel, giving better acceleration rear grip, which is better throttle response. 6. and Finally the throttle controller STAYS at sp4. I figured all this out by changing settings (going against my own advice) but still had no problems with the vitesse! This is because I spent about two weeks making observations only changing one or two things at a time during each drive event, basically going to work and back each day. Try this set up-let me know what you think

thanks, lately Ive been preferring to keep all those same settings but change drive mode throttle to Sport. Im finding that the stiff kick track mode throttle gives is only useful if you hold steady at throttle at WOT, otherwise it dies down fast and feels weird. During daily driving, WOT just doesn't happen.
Glad I could help
