How are the fenders holding up to the added spacers?

Awesome, debating on the skirts for my car when I came across this article. Been putting it off for too long lol....it's a debate between OEM ZL1 skirts and ACS ZL1 to go with the rear brake vents

hello...
well done..

does someone maybe have some pictures showing closer the door and the fender ? Is the gap between them from the top to the bottom the same?

does someone know what the difference is between "Type 1" and "Type 2" ? (see attached picture).

and what about the other parts? Do i need to order them as well?

Sorry for my beginner english.. my native language is swiss german.. :-)

Hello!
I just completed this using this write up but instead used nylon washers and stainless bolts and nuts. Thank you for all the good info burningrice!

Bereic, I’ll try an post some pics of the gap at the fender and door from top to bottom.
It does close a tiny bit at the bottom, but nothing that bothers me.

Also, you need these part numbers only: 84491863 and 84491864.

All the rest you see came with them. The clips were pre mounted and the weather stripping came in the box.

Thanks AdmAnt13

But how do you now have different part numbers?

Comparing the ZL1 and the SS in the online catalogue the Type 1 appears to be the normal skirts. As the part numbers with "Type 1" 23399023 and 23399024 are the same as on the SS selection.

The ZLI skirts are showing the numbers 84177432 and 84177431.

Thank you

My part numbers came from the dealer. Those part number you have are old and have been superseded by the ones I gave you. They are the most updated part numbers. As far as pictures, I have them, but need to reduce the size before I upload to imgur to post.

Sorry for that delay. But believe me, it’s not noticeable. Take the plunge. You’ll be happy you did

Hey AdamAnt, I looked for your pics and didn’t see where you posted them. Have you posted your results yet? I’d like to see how good it looks. Thank you!

ZL1 Rocker Panels

Can you separate the mosaic black portion of the rocker from the painted quarter panel piece????

I just ran over something in mine and scratched up the underside of my rocker so I need the mosaic portion painted and was hoping to not bother with the body color portion.

Thanks
