Not sure how well it shows up in pictures, but here are a few:

It's hard to tell it's not the same as the side windows because it's now darker inside the car and seems like the rear window has some low level factory tint.

Again - this is 35% side windows, nothing on the rear

Thx c4race for sharing. Yeah, it's tough to see a difference ... I guess that's a good thing. How much did you pay? And did you check how much the rear window would have been? Thx again for sharing.

$100 per side. This is a tint shop I have been using For 20 years and must be over 20 cars I've had done. I would not go anywhere else.

He didn't quote the rear. Didn't Want to do it. Probably $50 if I had forced the issue.
It's such a small window. Doesn't really need tint IMO. I rarely drive the car with the top up anyway. It's my 3rd car. If it's way too hot or winter I take a different vehicle.

Thx for all your information. The idea not tinting the rear makes sense. Now I have to get an estimation for my car.

I agree with Fifty2SS... gap will depend on your installer's skill and how the pieces are cut. My installer has been doing it for many years and I trust him (we went to school together) he was able to get the back window started easier by starting the top to open where the back was up.

I get every vehicle tinted, convertible or not. My car is a daily driver and the top is up far more than down thanks to the lovely weather here. I can't remember exactly but I went darker on the sides than I did my previous camaro, I think it is 25%?

Ugh, photobucket doesn't allow 3rd party photo hosting anymore without a premium, so heres links to a couple pics on my instagram lol
